Teacher, coach, advisor, student advocate, and school counselor are the titles that have followed me throughout my educational career. Outside the school environment, I am a proud alumna of Saint-Mary-of-the Woods College, IN (BS HE) and Monmouth University, NJ (MS Ed), an active member of the Monmouth County/New Jersey School Counselor Associations, Cheer-Dance Competitive Coach/Judge, and “Silver Sister” of Alpha Delta Kappa, an International honorary organization for women educators. La Famiglia E Tutto (“Family is Everything”)! Sunday dinners are filled with family, food, football, and fun! Win or lose... the Scarlet Knights, Fighting Irish, and Indianapolis Colts are the fan favorite teams. The best thing about being a school counselor is the relationships that are created between students and parents. Every day at Wall High School is a great day to be a knight!

I am grateful to be entering my 31st year in education. My high school students teach me something new every day, and I am fortunate to work with such an amazing, dedicated staff at Wall High School. I began my career in 1993 as a middle school Language Arts teacher in Long Branch. I became a school counselor in 2000 at Wall Intermediate School, and I made the move to Wall High School in 2015. I earned my Master's in Teaching at Fordham University in 1993, my School Counseling Certification at Georgian Court in 2000, and my Master's in Educational Administration at the University of Scranton in 2008. My husband Mike and I have been married for 29 years and are blessed with 3 children, Danielle, Michael, and Sean. We are avid sports fans and love everything football, baseball, and swimming. The greatest lesson I learned in life came from my father, and I strive to live by it: “Give love; it’s the only thing you’ll never run out of.”

This is my 13th year as a School Counselor at WHS. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from The College of New Jersey and a Master's degree in Counseling from Montclair State University. I live in Shark River Hills with my wife, daughter, two dogs, and two cats. I enjoy spending time with family, camping, playing guitar, cooking, and eating a good meal. I am looking forward to a great school year!
Mr. Andrew Nash - School Counselor
I am excited to start my first year at Wall High School as a School Counselor! As a proud graduate of the Wall school system, I look forward to supporting the students and families I grew up alongside. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Communication Studies from Stockton University and my Master’s degree in School Counseling from Monmouth University. Before joining WHS, I worked as an Academic Coordinator at the college level as well as a Counselor and College & Career Counselor in other high schools. When I’m not at school, I’m probably cheering on our Wall Knights or my New York Yankees!

I’m excited to begin another year as a school counselor at Wall High School! With over a decade of experience, I’ve had the privilege of supporting students and families across both New York and New Jersey. I earned my undergraduate degree from Montclair State University and my Master’s in School Counseling from St. John’s University. I’ve also completed additional coursework at Kean University and hold credentials as a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Nationally Board Certified Counselor. Originally from Middlesex County, I still call it home, where I live with my husband, Mr. Rivera, and our daughter, Adriana. Outside of school, I enjoy traveling, hiking, and cheering on the Knights at sporting events. I’m looking forward to a wonderful year filled with growth, new beginnings, and meaningful connections with students and families!

I am excited to have the opportunity to begin a new role as the 9th Grade School Counselor. While this is a new position for me, this is my fourth year working with our students and families at Wall HS. My role is to support student's transition to high school so they can grow to reach their full potential and goals while helping them to find success in being their best authentic selves. I am looking forward to working with you this school year as you endeavor into a new chapter in your life. I have my Master's in School Counseling from Kean University and an undergraduate degree from Coastal Carolina University. I am a co-advisor for the Anti-Bullying Task Force, an assistant wrestling coach, and a lifeguard for the surf team. I enjoy traveling, surfing, and watching football even though, unfortunately, I am a Jets fan.

I am excited to be joining Wall High School this year! I am a certified school social worker with my LSW. I have been working with children and families since 2017. I strive to be a strong advocate and support for the students and families I serve. I am a Monmouth University Alumni, love a good cup of coffee, reading on the beach, and you will catch me on the weekends enjoying time with my family. I look forward to a great year!
