POR Integrated Science includes an overview of topics in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Earth Science. This course will expose students to real-life applications of scientific issues and explore how concepts from different sciences overlap and interact. Students will develop problem solving and analysis skills, utilize technology, discuss current issues in science, apply their knowledge and effectively communicate ideas and findings while writing in the content area.

POR Biology / CP Biology

In this course, students will delve into the wonders of living organisms and the biological processes that shape the natural world. From the microscopic world of cells to the complex ecosystems that sustain life, students will build science and engineering skills as they make sense of the biological world, and recognize common themes that transcend all sciences. This course fosters an understanding of the connections of living things, human impacts on the environment, cellular processes, genetics, and evolution while aiming to instill a sense of wonder and appreciation for the diversity and complexity of life on Earth.
