2 independent releases with airplay in 48 different countries playing on all streaming platforms.

Beginning Guitar
WHS Beginning Guitar
This course of study offers the students the opportunity to explore music in a performance-based environment. The primary goal of the course is to increase the ability, aesthetic awareness and cultural literacy of the young musician while meeting Core Curriculum Standards.
MATERIALS NEEDED
Each student will need a three-ring binder with clear inserts. Students will be given several supplemental text books and are available in full PDF in the Google Classroom.
Students will be assigned a school-owned instrument that may be taken home for practice after a signed contract is returned with a parent's signature.

Syllabus for Beginning Guitar Course Wall Township High School
Course Overview:
This year-long course is designed for students who are new to playing the guitar. Students will learn fundamental techniques, music theory, and performance skills. By the end of the course, students will be able to play a variety of songs, understand basic music notation, and demonstrate basic guitar techniques.
Course Objectives:

Quarter 1: Introduction to Guitar

Week 5: Introduction to basic chords (C, G, D, E minor)

Week 6: Simple songs using learned chords (e.g., "Knockin' on Heaven's Door," "Three Little Birds")

Welcome to the Wall High Guitar Ensemble Program. Your cooperation, enthusiasm and individual talents will be a vital part of your personal success and satisfaction. The course will explore guitar performance in a multitude of genres, expose students to basic theory and literacy through music notation, perform in an ensemble and solo setting and provide opportunities for you to create music through the skills sets you acquire along rhe way.
Guitar Ensemble is like any other academic subject, and requires a year-long commitment.

Digital Audio
Digital Audio
This full-year elective course introduces students to digital audio production using GarageBand and/or Logic Pro. Students will learn audio theory, music composition, recording, mixing, sound design, and podcast creation. The curriculum emphasizes critical thinking, collaboration, technology literacy, and interdisciplinary applications.
Choir
The Concert Choir is open to all students who are interested in singing with a group of vocalists. The principles of vocal tone
production, diction, phrasing, note reading, and musical expression are taught. This is a performance course that presents diverse styles of music at
the Holiday and Spring Concerts annually. The Choir also performs for school and community activities throughout the school year. Participation in
dress rehearsals and concerts are required.
Classic Rock
This course develops a broader understanding of classic rock music and its cultural impact. A study of the predominant
performers and bands along with an introduction to the elements of a musical performance is explored. Additional topics include the influence of
critics, economic concerns, new directions, social issues, and the appreciation of the art form. This course is ideal for students who enjoy music, but
do not wish to perform.
